Team Osborne is a small family run team, dedicated and passionate about their horses and ponies. They are located in Staintondale, North Yorkshire.
Team Osborne consists of;
Wendy Osborne- The Boss; Wendy has approx 50 years’ experience in working with horses! Totally self-taught, from an unhorsey background, Wendy successfully begged her Mother and Father for riding lessons! Wendy has had success showing Hunters, Show Jumping and assisted in forming Old Burdon Riding Club. Wendy’s major success includes, Just Christopher – Jumping Grade B progressed from a Novice.
Eskmill Tomahawk – Intermediate Eventing
Team Chasing in the South Durham Farmers Team
Point to Pointing – finishing second, fourth and a Harrogate hospital!
Sadie Osborne- The Perfectionist; Sadie has ridden since she was in the womb – literally! Her fist show pony Polly Flinders won many titles and gave Sadie the showing bug! Her first major win was aged ten winning the Royal International Horse show in the first ridden class on Janet Cox’s Basford Replica. Sadie has won many a championship including qualifying for Horse of the Year show and Royal International on numerous occasions!
Amy Osborne-The Horizontal One; Laid back Amy or Bill is she is known was also born into the saddle and has the same passion for horses that runs through the family! Amy has successfully competed in all aspects, Showing, Show Jumping and Eventing. Amy spent 4 years in the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery in London, taking part of all aspects of duty as well as competing for the Army in the Show Jumping team and the Team Chasing Team. Amys major successes have been competing age 12 in horses classes BSJA on Clonky, Competing for the Royal Horse Artillery Team in SJ & Team Chasing. And competing Nationally for the Pony Club Championships and most recently for in the National finals for Scarborough Riding Club in the Riding Club Finals.
Bobby Carabine- Aka The Bobster; Bobby is Sadies Son and has major success riding his lead rein pony Woodend Marigold, Bobby qualified for Horse of the year show, finishing 6th and won Mini Supreme Heritage pony at BSPS Summer Championships.
Lola Carabine- Lolly to Her Friends!; Lola has just turned 3 years old and has started her riding career of in style winning 4 out of 5 classes in the summer and finishing this season off by riding at the BSPS summer championships on Woodend Marigold and gaining a 3rd in the Tiny Tots Lead rein!
Bill Reves- Aka Little Bill; Little Bill was adopted by Team Osborne at the beginning of 2015 to ride Woodend Marigold when Bobby was out of the class, and what a season they have had! They have qualified for Royal International and Horse of the Year Show and went Supreme Mini Heritage at BSPS Championships and also Mini Supreme and Overall Supreme at the Scottish Horse Show!
Jessica Taylor; 11 year old Jess is pony mad! She started riding at the age of 6 and was adopted by Team Osborne in 2015.Jess likes helping out on the yard and attending shows where she is a great help!Jess and her pony Rory enjoy hacking and jumping and hope to attend some shows in 2016!
Farrier- Tom Newman DIPWCF;
Tom took part in his 4 year apprenticeship with one on the country’s greatest farriers Kelvin Lymer in Worcester, Kelvin was head farrier for the Beijing Olympics.After qualifying Tom went to America to become a cultural exchange student for the British Farriers and Blacksmiths Association. While there Tom won the TPFA Draught shoeing and Eagle Eye Class and also won the NWFA division.Tom returned home to Scarborough and set up on his own and now covers the Whitby to Bridlington area.

Vet Physio- Hannah; Hannah Webb (Bsc hons, PgDip Vet Phys) Veterinary Physiotherapy provides a specialist physiotherapy service to large and small animals in the North East and Yorkshire.Educated to post graduate level in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University and a member of governing body ‘The National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists’ (NAVP), Hannah is fully qualified, insured and up to date with the latest scientific and clinical research in the field. Veterinary Physiotherapy has been established for over 25 years and is an invaluable adjunct of small and large animal Veterinary medicine.
David Marsden; We have known David forever, he has worked with horses for many years working for top showing producers Jerome Harforth & Katie Jerram.David has had many major successes in In Hand Classes, Leadrein & Ridden Classes – Including Blue Riband Leading Rein Champion ( Show Pony & Show Hunter Pony) and qualifying for HOYS & Royal international on many occasions.David is currently training to be a Dental Therapist at Teeside University.
